Speak of Me As I Am
|
ONE NIGHT ONLY EVENT
Saturday, February 7th 7:00 pm “Speak of Me As I Am” is Solomon’s heartfelt homage to Paul Robeson — an athlete, scholar, actor, singer, and civil rights activist whose deep voice and fearless advocacy made him a global icon. The production combines song and storytelling, highlighting the music Robeson made famous, including traditional spirituals such as “Go Down Moses,” and “Deep River,” as well as anthems like “The House I Live In,” and “The Star-Spangled Banner.” |
KB Solomon has built a career as one of the most prominent basso profundo singers of his generation.
Over the past 20 years, he has performed principal roles with leading opera companies worldwide.
His classical training spans five American universities, as well as the Opera Musical Theater Institute, where he studied under greats such as Jerome Hines and Franco Corelli. Solomon’s talents have garnered numerous awards, including the Richard Tucker Career Grant, the Sullivan Musical Foundation Award, and honors from the Metropolitan Opera National Auditions. He has been praised for bringing to life the rich sound, spirit, and power of Robeson’s music in a way that few others have matched.

Little Women: The Musical
March 13-22, 2026
March 13-22, 2026
|
Directed by: David Jones
Louisa May Alcott’s beloved story of the adventures of the four March sisters is brought to vivid musical life in Little Women. The Civil War is in full swing, and the March sisters -- Meg, the oldest, a romantic, the spirited and tomboyish Jo, sweet and loving Beth, and irascible, playful Amy -- live in Concord, Massachusetts with their Marmee while their father is on the battlefield. Filled with adventure (both lived and imagined), heartbreak, and a deep sense of hope, the struggle of these “Little Women” to find their own voices mirrors the growing pains of a young America. With buoyant, joyful melodies, memorable characters, and a big-hearted message, Little Women reminds us that “sometimes when you dream, your dreams come true.” |
